10 Awesome Organizing Products from the new IKEA 2017 Catalogue
Last week I was invited by the lovely team at IKEA Dubai to attend their launch event for the new IKEA Catalogue for 2017. We got to see great new products, including organizing ones, for the bedroom, kitchen and lounge areas, but also try some food which will be sold in their restaurant (3 words - pulled salmon sandwiches - you will thank me later!).As always once I have the catalogue in my hands, I will be incommunicado for an hour devouring the new products and layouts. This season there are some great pieces to store your items in an organized way, be more environmentally friendly and also liven up your home with colourful pieces. There was lots to choose from but here are my 10 favourite pieces from the new catalogue:
The Anvandbar Bench has been purposefully built to store items for recycling in a neat, organized way. But you could also use it to store toys in a playroom.
The Avandbar pouches are pretty and useful. Ikea suggests you use it for carrying fruit and vegetables, but they could also be used to store baby items, packed lunches for the office and as laundry bags when travelling. Actually they have multiple uses!
I know how limited wardrobe space can be in many places, so this Elvarli wardrobe unit is perfect. There are various sizes that can be purchased to fit your room. You could buy a smaller one to use to hang coats and shoes in the hallway.
I loved this Flisat toy storage box with wheels. This will be perfect for kids to store their toys and also to move them around from playroom to bedroom to hallways (with lego pieces flying out).
The Lixhult Storage unit is colourful and useful for organizing your lounge, study or bedroom. You can buy all of these or some. Whatever you need to store items in an organized way!
How many times do you misplace your car keys? With this hanging in your hallway, you have a neat place to store your keys, bags, coats and bits and bobs! Plus the colour is so happy and vibrant! Just what you need when walking into your home.
These Slakting Boxes might look dull in colour, but they are great to put in most drawers, which need organizing. I can see them being used to store sock, winter clothes, accesories and underwear.
The Storhogen Battery charger enables you to charge the batteries in a secure place but also to store the spare batteries easily. No more missing batteries!
The last two items are called Viktigt. I love them both for various reasons. The first one can be used to store memories, jewellery and anthing else you want to keep safe.
This basket is considered a laundry basket, but would be great to store magazines, throws and blankets in the lounge.
These were my fave organizing products for now, but I'm sure I will find some more when I go to visit the store. What will you buying from Ikea this season?
