Stuffocation

Do you suffer from Stuffocation? You might be asking what is Stuffocation.According to James Wallman who create the term, "Stuffocation is that feeling you get when you have to fight through piles of stuff you don’t use to find the thing you need, or when someone gives you something and your gut reaction isn’t “thank you,” but “what on earth makes you think I could possibly want or need that?” Instead of thinking of more stuff in positive terms, like we used to, we now think more means more hassle, more to manage, and more to think about.  Overwhelmed and suffocating from stuff, we are feeling “stuffocation.”

More and more people suffer from Stuffocation and it becomes an even bigger issue during the Holiday and Sales period. To illustrate Stuffocation, below is an infogram showing how much stuff has taken over our lives: Do you feel overwhelmed with stuff currently in your home? What have you done to reduce the stuff. If you need help and advice on this or know someone who does, contact us and we will be able to help you reduce the stuff and feel less stuffocation.
