The new catalogue is here and I thought I would share my favourite new items which could help with decluttring your life.1) Hjalmaren cart

Simple and can be used in a few areas of your home. If you do not have cabinets in your bathroom to store items, which seems to be the norm now in newly built apartments, this is a useful item to hold your towels, toiletries and makeup. Add a few baskets in the middle and top tier to put your products in an orderly manner.

It can also be used in your kitchen to store dry foods such as potatoes, onions and even your bottles of water. How about in your children's room/den to store their favourite toys at the end of the day?

With the wheels on it, the cart can be easily moved from room to room wherever your children will be playing that day.

2) Fabrikor glass door cabinetNice design, simple lines and will look classy in your bathroom or even living room. I could see it being an ideal little cabinet to store your favourite keep sakes from various travels. For the bathroom, a great place to put your special items such as perfumes, towels and candles.Ikea have shown it in the bathroom and also in the office.

3) Stockholm Coffee TableRetro and a good shape to fit in many living rooms. With the middle section you can store your magazines and other bits and pieces including the remote controls when not in use.I also loved the Stockholm nesting tables. Nesting tables are always useful to have, especially when you have guests. Actually I liked nearly all of the Stockholm items.

4) Olofstorp storage unitAnother useful storage unit which can be used in different rooms including the kitchen (as shown by Ikea), bathroom, living room and bedrooms. Versatile to store items you want to have seen and hide the items that should be hidden such as underwear and cleaning products (for kitchen and/or bathroom).5) Skylta Children's Market Stand.

One for the kiddies and not useful for decluttering. Made of cardboard but can bring ours of fun for the little ones to play shop. Maybe I am reliving my childhood with this suggestion but I think it is adorable.

Other choice cuts include

a. Malm chest of 2 or 3 drawers - now in turquoise - I love that colour and it will lighten up your room.

b. Stockholm sofa in green velvet - vibrant bright colour to contrast with the Malm cupboard.

c. Micke with integrated storage  - would be a good choice for my home office.

d. Samla - perfect for decluttering into three piles and easy storage once used.Let me know what are your favourites in the new catalogue.
